Top tips

Preheat – To serve up crispy fries preheat the air fryer.

Do not thaw – For best results cook the sweet potato fries straight from frozen.

Don’t overfill – You do not want to try and cook too many fries at once. You don’t need to organize them in a single layer as I recommend for many other frozen foods. But you still want there to be some room between fries for the hot air to circulate. Cook in batches if needed.

Shake – By shaking the air fryer basket halfway through the cooking time all the fries will be crispy.

Extra time – If the fries are bigger in size or you are cooking a bigger batch. Then you may need to add extra time.

Serving with

If you want to make more of the fries beyond serving them as an easy snack with your favorite dipping sauce (BBQ sauce, tomato ketchup, or sour cream). Here are some great side dish suggestions…

  • Cheesy – cover the fries in grated cheddar or parmesan cheese.
  • Loaded – Add some bacon bits, sour cream, avocado, and grated cheese.

Or simply add the fries to a salad and throw on some hummus or guacamole for good measure.
